Robin Hood star Jonas Armstrong has split from his Maid Marian - actress Sammy Winward.
Heartthrob Jonas, 28, and Emmerdale heartbreaker Sammy, 23, met at a TV awards bash in May 2007 - and his co-stars were even taking bets on when he would propose. But they have now told pals the romance is over, blaming conflicting work schedules.
Sammy, who lives in Yorkshire with Mia, her three-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, told pals she struggled to find time to see Jonas, who has been filming BBC's Robin Hood in Hungary for six months of the year.
A source revealed: "It seems the distance between them became too much. When Jonas wasn't filming, the relationship couldn't have been better.
"But it got to the point where they hardly saw each other and they both agreed that things weren't working."
