Sammy Winward says love your body
Bolton TV star Sammy Winward has urged women of the world to be happy with themselves as part of a campaign to highlight issues surrounding body confidence.
The 23-year-old actress, who plays Katie Sugden in ITV1 soap Emmerdale, is among a host of celebrities to speak out in Cosmopolitan magazine as part of its Love Your Body Campaign.
The November issue contains body confidence secrets from the celebrities.
Sammy a former Turton High School pupil, said: “We all feel pressure to look a certain way at times. But what one person finds attractive, another won’t, so focus on pleasing yourself.
“If you’re happy, it will show.”
Other celebrities involved include Kirsty Gallagher, Mica Paris and Zoe Salmon.
Sammy who has a daughter Mia, aged four, added: “Ultimately, being healthy has to come first.
“If you don’t look after yourself it will show in time.”
